What is a Capacity Profile in PowerRouter?

A capacity profile is created for teams based on different segments, making it easy to set assignment caps for each team based on the segment. You can also choose whether each team member has their own limit or if they all share the same limit across different segments.

Capacity profiles simplify the process of managing and assigning leads to sales teams, making sure everyone gets their fair share of leads.

What is a Tag in a Capacity Profile?

A tag is a unique ID assigned to profiles to differentiate between multiple segments using the same capacity profile. Tags make it easier to manage capacity profiles, if you want to use the same profiles at different places. Please note that assigning a tag is optional.

How to set Capacity profiles?

In the Route To Team component, there are three sections:

  • General: This is the main section where you choose a team to route your leads to.
  • Advanced: If you need more advanced rules like assigning to lead or account owner, email templates, etc, you can set them up here.
  • Capacity: In the capacity section, you can create capacity profiles and set caps for users.

To enable the capacity profile user must first select a Team in the General section.

Go to the Capacity page and turn on Enable Capacity to set the cap.

Then, you will see two options:

  • Create New Profile: It helps you create a new capacity profile
  • Use Existing Profile: It allows you to use an existing profile created for another lead segment.

How to Create a New Capacity Profile?

  • Click on "Create New Profile."

  • Give the new profile a name.
  • Click the "Add Tag" button to assign a unique Tag ID, distinguishing the routing processes within multiple instances of the same profile added in various "Route to Team" configurations. Please note that assigning a tag is optional.
  • Pick the duration of the capacity limit i.e., leads assigned daily, weekly, monthly or All Time.
  • If you want to set a uniform cap for every one in the team, select ‘set capacity for all users.’
  • You can turn the cap on or off for each user by clicking on the toggle button.

  • Increase or decrease the cap limit by clicking on the ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons.
  • Click the ‘Tick’ icon to save the cap limits.

  • Finally, hit ‘Save’ to save your newly created capacity profile.

How to Use an Existing Capacity Profile?

  • Click "Use Existing Profile."

  • Choose the profile you want to use from the drop-down options.
  • Give a unique Tag Id to differentiate this segment using the same profile.
  • That's it! The cap limits and duration are automatically set for you.
  • Click the ‘tick’ icon to save the cap.

  • Finally, hit 'Save' to save your new capacity profile.
