Person Account - Duplicate Component

This article explains how to configure the Duplicate Component for Person accounts.


The Duplicate Person Account component in PowerRouter identifies duplicate Person Accounts in real-time and merges them with the original ones. 


Here’s a step-by-step guide to configure Duplicate Person Account Component.




Follow these simple steps to configure the Person Account Duplicate Component:


1. Start by clicking on "Router" on the left side of the PowerRouter dashboard.



2. In the Router section, create a new workflow. Choose "Account" as the object type and give it a name. For example, "Demo Person Account."


3. On the workflow canvas, find the blue arrow in the top right corner, and drag the "New Account" trigger component onto the canvas


4. Now, connect the "Is Duplicate Person Account" to the trigger "New Account" component.


5. To configure the Duplicate Component, click the "Edit" icon above it. You can add a description and adjust global Duplicate Settings by clicking "Duplicate Settings."


6. After configuring the Duplicate Component, click "Save" to apply the settings. Once saved, you'll see two paths: "Yes" and "No."


7. Add an "Assign to User" component to both paths and provide the necessary details within these components.


7. To save the entire workflow, click "Save."
