Assigning PowerRouter Licenses

This article will help you understand how to assign as well as remove PowerRouter license for users.
Who needs licenses?

Any user who is managing the application, is part of any team/workflow, or owns accounts that could be matched by leads needs PowerRouter licenses. Here are the details:

  1. Admins to run PowerRouter: Each administrator utilizing PowerRouter must possess a valid PowerRouter License.
  2. Assigning records to users through PowerRouter: Users intending to be assigned records via PowerRouter are required to hold a valid PowerRouter license.
  3. Matching leads and contacts to other objects: The owner of the records involved in matching leads and contacts must possess a PowerRouter License.
  4. Assigning records to queues: Queues designated for record assignment within PowerRouter must be associated with a valid license.

Granting Licenses to Users

To assign licenses to users, please follow the steps mentioned below:  

  • Go to Salesforce Setup from the top right menu on your Salesforce Org.

 

  • This will take you to the Setup screen. In the Quick Find Search bar, type Installed Packages and press Enter.

 

  • Click on the Installed Packages from the search result.

  • This opens up the list of all installed packages. Click on the Manage Licenses next to Power Router.                                                                                                                                       
  • To add licenses, Click on Add Users.
                                                                                                                                          
  • A list of all available users will be displayed. To add a user, click or check the checkbox beside the user’s name.                                                                                                                                                                                 
  • As you mark checkboxes to add users, a list of selected users will be generated under the Selected Users section. Click on the Add button to add the checked users.                                                                                                                                                                               
  • Done, we have successfully assigned licenses to users. 



Removing Licenses from Users


To remove licenses for Users, just click the Remove next to the User.
