How to change Powerrouter Running User?

In order to change PowerRouter Running User, we need to restart PowerRouter with the new user profile. The new user should have PowerRouter License and have the PowerRouter Admin permission set assigned to be able to access PowerRouter. 
Users who have Admin access to PowerRouter can also change PowerRouter Settings to start/ stop the application. 


Granting Licenses to Users:


To assign licenses to users, please follow the steps below:  

  • Navigate to Salesforce Setup from the top right menu on your Salesforce Org.

 

  • In the Quick Find Search bar, type Installed Packages and press Enter.


  • Click on the Installed Packages from the search result.

  • This opens up the list of all installed packages. Click on the Manage Licenses next to Power Router.                                                                                                                                                                               

  • To add licenses, Click on Add Users.

                                                                                                                                                                                  

  • A list of all available users will be displayed. To add a user, click or check the checkbox beside the user’s name.

                                                                                                                                                                                     

  • As you check checkboxes to add users, a list of selected users will be generated in the Selected Users section. Click on the Add button to add the checked users.

                                                                                                                                                                                   

  • Congratulations, we have successfully assigned PowerRouter licenses to users!!!

 

Grant access using Permission Sets


To assign permission sets:

  1. From Setup, kindly navigate to Users|Permission Sets.

  2. Click on Power Router Admin.

          
                                                                                                                                                

  3. Click Manage Assignments.

                                                                                                                                             

  4. Click Add Assignments.

  5. Select Users and click on Assign.

                                                                                                                                                         

  6. Click Done to Confirm.

 

Steps to Re-start PowerRouter:

  1. Login to Salesforce from the new Admin User.

  2. Click on the App Launcher in Salesforce.


  3. Search for PowerRouter in the search bar and click on PowerRouter. This will open the PowerRouter App.

     

  4. Click on the PowerRouter(Lightning).


  5. Click on the Settings icon followed byStop PowerRouter in Scheduler under General settings.

  6. Click on Start PowerRouter. After PowerRouter is started and workflow is published, PowerRouter will start assigning leads.
