How to Fetch Leads from Campaign and Route to Team?

This article explains how to use the Fetch Campaign Lead component in PowerRouter to loop them into routing workflows. It helps you find and re-engage leads and contacts associated with different campaigns in Salesforce. 


Overview of the Fetch Campaign Lead Component:


‘Fetch Campaign Lead’ in PowerRouter is designed to help users identify, fetch, and manage leads or contacts associated with specific campaigns in Salesforce easily. It helps you:

  1. Bring campaign associate leads or contacts back into routing workflows.
  2. Assign campaign engaged or associated leads or contacts to sales teams automatically.
  3. Create tasks for sales teams for the campaign associated leads or objects.

Before using Fetch Campaign, make sure you have:

  • Access to PowerRouter.
  • Permission as a Salesforce Marketing User.

To learn how to use Fetch Campaign Lead Component, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Router section in PowerRouter by clicking on it in the left menu.


2. Create a new workflow by clicking the "+" icon in Draft Workflows.



3. Name the new workflow, for example, "Demo Workflow - 1."



4. Select the object type as ‘Lead’ 


5. Your workflow is now created. Open the workflow and start configuring the workflow.


6. First, add the "Fetch Campaign Lead” component by dragging it from the component list on the right side.


7. Click 'Edit' to configure the rules of ‘Fetch Campaign Lead’.


Configuring Fetch Campaign Lead

  • Add a description to help users identify the purpose of the 
  • Choose Campaign: Click the box under 'Campaigns' and pick the campaign(s) you want to fetch the records from, like "Campaign1."
  • Add Criteria (Optional): If needed, you can set additional rules for fetching leads. For example, you can say "City='New York'" to only get leads from New York.


8. Fetch Campaign Lead is now configured. It automatically fetches leads from campaigns based on the specified rules. 


9. Now, to route fetched leads to specific users, connect the "Route To Team" component to the ‘Fetch Campaign Lead’ component using an arrow.


10. Choose the team that you want to route the fetched leads to in the "Route To Team" component.


11. Finally, save your workflow and publish it. 


You've now fetched leads from your chosen campaigns and routed them to your team.
