Setting Up Email Template

This article will help you understand how to design an email template that is used in PowerRouter.


Records when routed to a user or team member, assignment emails will be sent based on the Email Template design that is created in this area because it will be utilized globally.

Steps to edit the default Email Template:

  • Click on Setting in the left navigation bar.
  • Click on the Email Templates section.

  • Here, you can choose the template for different records for which you want to edit the email template from the dropdown Template Type. As an illustration, the Lead Assignment template is selected here.

  • Click the edit button to edit the template.

  • Scroll down to view the edit dialog box of the email template.
  • Add the Subject and Body as per your requirements.
  • You can add the fields in the format {Lead.FieldApiName}. This will fetch the lead’s field value and add in the email.  For instance, {Lead.annualrevenue} will fetch the annual revenue of the lead.

  • Click on the green tick button to save.
