A capping profile is created for teams based on different segments, making it easy to set assignment caps for each team based on the segment. You can also choose whether each team member has their own limit or if they all share the same limit across different segments.
Capping profiles simplify the process of managing and assigning leads to sales teams, making sure everyone gets their fair share of leads.
What is a Tag in a Capping Profile?
A tag is a unique ID assigned to profiles to differentiate between multiple segments using the same capping profile. Tags make it easier to manage capping profiles, if you want to use the same profiles at different places.
How to set capping profiles?
In the 'Route To Team' component, there are three sections:
- General: This is the main section where you choose a team to route your leads to.
- Advanced: If you need more advanced rules like assigning to lead or account owner, email templates, etc, you can set them up here.
- Capping: In the capping section, you can create capping profiles and set caps for users.
To enable the capping profile user must first select a Team in the General section.
Go to the "Capping" page and turn on "Enable Capping" to set the cap.
Then, you will see two options:
- Create New Profile: It helps you create a new capping profile
- Use Existing Profile: It allows you to use an existing profile created for another lead segment.
